Bird watching at Afonwen Farm
Bird watching is an increasingly popular pastime. At Afonwen our lake and grounds is home to many rare species and is a haven for the wild bird population who migrate to the North Wales coast every year.
In a recent survey, the RSPB reported that there were around 80,000 starlings nesting in the reed beds by the lake. The evening displays were fantastic as the starlings swept around the sky.
