Happy New Year

We had a wet, windy and stormy New Year with severe damage to the sea wall and widespread flooding on the farm. The huge waves came over the wall, running like a river into the lake.

A huge hole has appeared in the sea defences, causing a massive crater in the railway with extensive damage. No trains are now running until the Summer.

The hole has been temporarily fixed, but with an ever higher tides due we hope the wall will hold the sea!
